Photographer Study - Johnny Lee

Johnny Lee is a computer scientist, He has been involved in the creation of the Nintendo wii controller and microsofts kinect. However he is also considered to be one of the best high speed and experimental photographers out there. On his website (http://littlegreatideas.com/photography/) he has a set of high speed photos of bottles of beer being smashed. An example is the image below. His images dont seem to have much in the way off themes, but visually there beautiful. I like this set of images so much because its something you'd never have a chance to witness, the human eye isnt fast enough, to be able to study a split second in time is what makes this image so appeling to me. The light also helps to make this image intreseting, its very well lite from each angle so you can see each indivdual drop of beer and they way its splashing.
